Ecology and sustainable development are at the heart of the Marathon. We strive to make participants cognizant of the need to respect the environment: to get involved in the protection of the planet and to participate in a sporting event endowed with great values.
In 2021, the COMAR Virtual Run Marathon was held under the theme "Let's run for the environment". In partnership with the association "Tounes Clean Up".
To contribute to the planting of trees across Tunisia: 1 Dinar collected = 1 Tree planted.
Thanks to the participation in this environmental cause in 2021, we managed to collect funds to plant 20 623 trees in our fire-rampaged forests!
This year the amount raised rose to 33,794 dinars.
